SMR Components is a full-service precision machining and manufacturing facility. Our mission is to be resource for the brightest minds at the brightest companies. All of our customers push the boundaries of possibility, and, with our help, they turn their best ideas into reality. We don’t necessarily offer our customers improvements on their ideas, rather we offer them piece of mind in the form of reliability. We provide the best chance for your ideas to succeed.

SMR Components was created in 1989 as a resource to Stuart Moore Racing. The racing team needed a reliable system of replacing damaged, weak or otherwise underperforming parts on its race cars. It had a hand-operated mill and lathe, but in an effort to modernize the racing team invested in a fully automated CNC milling machine. It wasn’t long before competing teams realized that the team’s cars were among the most reliable in many respects.

We don’t have the luxury of name recognition and consumer reports to help prove our commitment to quality. We can’t go on television and sing praises quoted from journalistic critics. What we can do is what we’ve always done; produce the greatest quality product with maximum efficiency. Our commitment means that quality is the priority when producing a part.
