Pierce Machine Co.
Mark W. Busch, president of Pierce Machine Co., joined the company in 1980.
Our greatest strengths are lathe turning, CNC machining, fabrication and assembly. We also provide Blanchard grinding up to 42 inches, dynamic balancing, tooling, welding, drilling and prototype machining. Additional services include rubber covering of rolls, chrome plating, EDM, water jet cutting, heat-treating, NDT testing, and turnkey project management.
We cooperatively work with foundries, forging houses and material service centers to ensure quality materials for our projects. Additionally, we can offer services not directly available in-house, such as water jet cutting, plasma, EDM wire & electrode, stamping, chrome plating, rubber covering, millwrighting, engineering, and turnkey project management.
Pierce Machine was founded more than 50 years ago and has been owned and managed by the Busch family since 1967. J. Robert Busch managed the firm's day-to-day operations for more than three decades before passing the baton to his son Mark in 1998, and continues to assist with strategic planning.
In our Dalton facility, Pierce Machine Company has more than 20,000 square feet dedicated to the manufacture of precision machined parts and custom-built machinery, as well as a 4,000-square-foot fabricating area. We have three cranes at our Dalton facility, with 2-, 3- and 10-ton capacities.
