From inspiration to application, Pexco has been helping our customers bring ideas to life for nearly half a century as a plastic extrusion manufacturer. Based in Atlanta, with multiple plants in the U.S. and Mexico, Pexco has grown and evolved to become North America’s leader in the design and fabrication of specialty plastic products.

Pexco LLC’s story began nearly half a century ago during its association with American Filtrona Corporation (headquartered in Richmond, Virginia). In 1970, fiber extruder American Filtrona (known today Essentra plc) diversified into plastics manufacturing by acquiring Southern Plastics of Columbia, South Carolina. Over the years, American Filtrona had accumulated a variety of specialty plastic extrusion businesses throughout North America. As the company grew, it came to serve a broad variety of markets while also advancing its plastic manufacturing processes.

Pexco is based north of Atlanta, Georgia, with multiple manufacturing facilities across the United States and Mexico. As North America’s leading custom extruder, Pexco offers a full range of extruded plastics design, engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication services. It meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and 9001:2015 and other key registrations and/or certifications for its manufacturing operations, providing standard and custom parts and finished assemblies to manufacturers and end-users across industrial and commercial market applications.
