Quality American vacuum formed plastic manufacturers
Vacuum forming, which is a version of thermoforming and one of the oldest plastic forming methods, occurs when a sheet of plastic is heated and formed onto the surface of a single-surface mold by a vacuum. Only one side of the plastic sheet is shaped using the mold.
This process is typically used for larger products / parts at smaller production runs and is good for rapid prototyping. It allows for lower setup and design costs compared to higher-volume plastics manufacturing processes such as injection molding. Use of the vacuum forming method is common in many automotive components such as bumpers and door interiors, engine covers, parts for ATMs / kiosks, and plastic packaging.

"The reality is Google doesn’t motivate a search. It simply enables it. No one randomly types in the name of a brand, product or service. It all starts somewhere else. To see the big picture, one must look at these cross-media connections. You need to focus on the synergies, not the divisions, that exist between TV and digital. The more we think about Google as a destination and less as a startin...Read more
When this works, Tier vendors make high-quality parts that support problem-free OEM production. Plus, they make more attractive margins while keeping their costs competitive. For this to happen, however, tooling buyers need to recognize that, despite the old saying, they aren’t always right, especially when the data tells them they’re wrong. If you’re buying tooling and you think you know more ab...Read more

The company's primary goal in the early years was to create custom formed parts for various businesses and to manufacture those parts with polyethylene or ABS plastic material. When we commenced our operation back in 1953, the rigid paper box industry was a well-established, highly competitive type of business. In order to be active, we had to do things right to maintain our accounts and expand. Conversely, the thermoforming of plastics for packaging was in it's infancy and we had to learn and self-teach by trial and error. Since those days, thermoforming has become an ...Read more

Because tooling costs are lower, relatively large parts can be economically fabricated. Vacuum forming is also ideal for prototyping and product development due to the lower tooling costs and faster turn around. In many instances, a vacuum formed part is of higher quality and will last longer than an identical part made by a different process. This is especially true when comparing an injected mo...Read more
