Quality American polymer casting manufacturers
Polymer casting produces flexible plastic components that cannot be produced using traditional injection molding or extrusion processes. This process occurs when liquid plastic is placed into a mold and solidified via atmospheric pressure as opposed to being pushed via force into the mold cavity.
Polymer casting can be a strong alternative process for cost-effectively producing low-volume applications, including complex shapes. It also allows plastic manufacturers to alternate material properties for individual layers of the product and use components produced via other methods such as injected molded or extrusion. This method is typically used to produce complex medical devices.
Need to find a supplier that specializes in polymer casting? Sourcing your product in America reduces your delivery times, costs, and environment impact. Use Mark1 to easily find & compare from over 50 US polymer casting suppliers.
