Quality American 3d printed plastic manufacturers
3D printers produce real-world plastic objects from 3D CAD models. These machines build up the object one thin layer at a time, from the bottom to the top, via a repetitive printing process that fuses these plastic layers together. The two most common 3D printers used to produce plastic objects are Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and stereligthography (SLA) where the former uses an extrusion process while the latter uses a light-based process.
3D printing is ideal for producing prototypes and products at low volume and/or short runs as the setup and design costs are significantly lower than traditional manufacturing processes like injection molding. This method also typically results in faster turnaround times. However, it is not suited for high volume manufacturing.

645 uses a modification to the standard material chain resulting in a new co-polymer to dramatically enhance bonding. To accomplish this improved bonding and thermal uniformity during the 3D printing process, both the new co-polymer and manufacturing method are unique to 645. The resistance to chemical degradation was also a top priority for 645 as the ability to 3D print molds as well as operate...Read more

For simpler part designs, this is a way of making a multiple cavity mold to get quantities of parts cast without waiting for the long lead-times and the high cost of automated high-pressure injection mold tooling. These types of molds are often the choice for pre-production molding, or production molding if the life of the project is in the thousands rather than the hundreds-of-thousands range an...Read more
