Quality American 3d printed plastic manufacturers
3D printers produce real-world plastic objects from 3D CAD models. These machines build up the object one thin layer at a time, from the bottom to the top, via a repetitive printing process that fuses these plastic layers together. The two most common 3D printers used to produce plastic objects are Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and stereligthography (SLA) where the former uses an extrusion process while the latter uses a light-based process.
3D printing is ideal for producing prototypes and products at low volume and/or short runs as the setup and design costs are significantly lower than traditional manufacturing processes like injection molding. This method also typically results in faster turnaround times. However, it is not suited for high volume manufacturing.
